Rosie’s Place
Community Mural Proposal
I am a local artist in my 30’s and I recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in art from Framingham State. I’ve struggled with addiction and in 2017 I decided to get sober and turn my life around. I am currently working painting murals around Massachusetts for local businesses and individuals. I am very interested in community involved public art and I would like to team up with Rosie’s Place to paint a mural to inspire and bring large-scale art to the Rosie’s community.
I would like to design (and possibly paint) the mural with the women that are part of the Rosie’s Place community. I believe that working on a large-scale project like a mural would be very empowering to the women, and I also know how healing art can be during difficult times in life.
